Professor Merton shaped my legal experience since I was a baby 1L. I am now studying for the bar and constantly thinking about Professor Merton’s voice in my head telling me I can do it and pushing me. She is always ready to lend a helping hand with a caring and warm heart and an intelligence that intimidates and invites. My favorite moments were the few case check ins we were able to have via Zoom. I missed you so much during my 3L Professor Merton and cannot wait to see you again. You are a wonder in this world and simply one of a kind. I’m privileged and blessed to have had my legal education at the same time that you graced Pace Law with your presence.
